Throwing back to our annual networking conference last Sunday in Rotterdam!

We welcomed 100 guests (including kids!) to talk about global impact for Algerian professionals. The entire afternoon was filled with knowledge-exchange, community building and Algerian home vibes, thanks to participants coming from different countries in Europe.

Our event was opened by Youssef Benchaabane, reciting a poem written by the famous Algerian writer Moufdi Zakaria, describing the country of Algeria.

As team Algerians Abroad, we then presented our vision and mission together with our annual event program of 2025. This was also an opportunity to gather feedback from our participants and discover what the currents needs are of the community.

After a mindblowing panel discussion with our guest experts Reyan Benallal Mourad Aissou and MANSOURI Jamila, we had interesting brainstorming sessions in different ‘networking lounges’, focused on the fields of Technology, Entrepreneurship, Education, Art & Culture.

This event was not only about meeting people, it was about finding meaningful connections, feeling home and learning the best things from ‘wled en bnat bledek’.

Of course, the happiest faces were seen at the moment of dinner, starting with home made mhajeb by Dounia Touirat and her catering service Chez Yemma. You can find the logo of the catering service below ⬇️
